To recognise the International Day of Persons with Disabilities we are offering a 14 day gym, classes and swimming pool trial to anyone with a long term health condition or disability.

From Monday the 2nd December until the 15th December you will be able to sign up on a 14 day gym, classes and swimming trial at our centre. You will be able to train in our gym and swimming pool with the knowledge our highly qualified fitness team will be on hand to support you every step of the way. Contact us below to find out more.

WheelPower Sports Festival for anyone with a physical disability.

The Buckinghamshire WheelPower Sports Festival is an inclusive event for anyone with a physical disability to discover sport in a safe, welcoming and friendly environment.

Come and try a variety of wheelchair sports.

When: Thursday 5th December 9am – 3pm

Where: Stoke Mandeville Stadium

National Paralympic Heritage Trust Meet the Paralympian

What does success look like? Why not join the National Paralympic Heritage Trust for an inspiring virtual event where wheelchair racer Nathan Maguire will be telling his story. Nathan’s story is a testament to the resilience and hard work he has put into his career. This hard work paid off at the Paris Paralympic Games where Nathan reached the finals in the 400m, 800m and 1500m T54 - finishing tantalisingly close to the podium. This talk will inspire you to reflect on your own definition of success.

Aces Wheelchair Basketball Club

Have you always wanted to have a go at wheelchair basketball? Why don’t you pop down and join one of Aces training session, and pay nothing until January!

Whether you are disabled or non-disabled, Aces are always looking to welcome new members to the club. Fancy trying it out?

Introducing Quiet Hours

We do our best to ensure our centre is accessible for everyone, this includes introducing quiet hours in our Gym and Pool, during these times the music will be turned off to ensure the centre is more accessible for those with additional needs, this is particularly useful for those with non-visible disabilities. We are introducing our Quiet Hours from the 2nd December 2024.

Gym Quiet Hours:
Thursday 10am – 11am
Saturday 2pm – 3pm

Inclusive Swim:
Wednesday 12.45pm – 1.30pm
Thursday 9.15am – 10am
